Frequently asked questions
What states do you serve?
Online visits are available to patients physically located in: all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia (a live consultation is required before treatment in DC, KS, LA, MS, NM, RI, and WV). Your provider must be licensed in the state where you are located at the time of your visit.
Who are your providers?
Medical care is provided by independent clinicians licensed in your state through our partner provider networks (CuraDocs, The Network Health, and Zira Medical). Metabolic Regen MD does not practice medicine and does not employ the providers.
Who is your pharmacy?
Prescriptions are filled by our licensed partner pharmacies: Emerald Pharmacy (Tampa, FL) for weight-management medications and EPIQ Scripts (Richardson, TX) for sexual-health medications. Metabolic Regen MD is not a pharmacy.
Am I guaranteed a prescription?
No. A licensed provider decides whether treatment is appropriate based on your health history. If a prescription is not appropriate, you will not be charged for medication.
How does the consultation work?
You complete a secure online intake and verify your identity. A licensed provider reviews it, typically within 24–48 hours, and may follow up by secure message or video before making a decision.
Are these medications FDA-approved?
Sildenafil and tadalafil tablets are FDA-approved generic medications. Compounded medications, such as compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide, daily tadalafil + NMN, NAD+, and sermorelin, are not FDA-approved and have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Do I need insurance?
No. We offer transparent cash pricing shown before you start. We do not bill insurance, but you may be able to use an HSA or FSA card; check with your plan administrator.
What does the price include?
The online provider evaluation, medication if prescribed, standard shipping, and ongoing messaging with your care team. Prices are listed on each treatment page.
How long does shipping take?
Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days after a prescription is issued and arrive in 2–5 business days. Packaging is plain with no reference to the contents.
What is your refund policy?
Because prescription medications cannot be resold or restocked, dispensed medication cannot be returned. If you are not prescribed treatment, you are not charged for medication. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Yes. You can cancel future shipments any time from your account or by contacting support before your next order is processed.
What if I have side effects?
Message your care team through your patient account. For a medical emergency, call 911. You may also report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.
Is my information private?
Your health information is protected under HIPAA and handled on secure, encrypted systems. See our Notice of Privacy Practices and Privacy Policy.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
No. Our providers do not prescribe controlled substances through this service.
